The use of interactive whiteboards in the education of preschool children

The bachelor's thesis deals with the use of interactive whiteboards in the education of preschool children. The thesis contains a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, preschool education, preschool age, framework educational program for preschool education, the use of interactive whiteboards in teaching, teachers and technology are clarified, and the last chapter introduces the interactive whiteboard, its history, types, advantages and disadvantages. The practical part is devoted to pilot studies, where we will find a design of a set of exercises and games that is suitable for working on an interactive whiteboard for preschool children, creating exercises and games in the ActivInspire program, applying these exercises and games in kindergarten and observing children's work on an interactive whiteboard . The practical part ends with interviews with the kindergarten teacher. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out whether the interactive whiteboard can enrich the education of preschool children and develop them in all areas.

Use of audiovisual Equipment, Museum Pedagogy and Literature in the Teaching of Geography

His master's thesis I've divided into three parts, theoretical, practical and empirical. The theoretical part deals with the teaching of geography, educational technology and teaching aids, museum pedagogy, individual educational specificities of schools and museums and how should cooperation look like, what role in it plays the personality of the museum educator and what it is for a school and a museum benefit. And last but not least the literature, which is in my opinion an important element in the teaching of geography. In the practical part, I have described a realization of a project in which it is used didactic technology, a collaboration with the museum and work with literature. The empirical part is focused on research in basic schools in the field of educational technology. The key concepts on which the research is based, such as: modern didactic techniques, working with modern educational technology, the perception of educational technology as a means to the realization of the teaching.

The theoretical part summarizes the basic theoretical information about m-technologies and other modern technologies which then comes the part of research of the thesis which is focused on facilities and use of modern technologies ICT in education and in the management of Primary schools in the Moravian-Silesian region. Questionnaire results and research about using modern technologies in education and in school management are the focus of the practical part. The thesis deals with level of implementation and use of m-technologies and other modern technologies in primary schools. The aim of this thesis is to find out whether the interactive whiteboard is usable in occupational therapy in cognitive functions training of patients with brain damage. The theoretical part provides information on cognitive functions, their damage impact on life and their rehabilitation. It also describes the interactive whiteboard, its components and accessories. The practical part is based on using the interactive whiteboard at the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department of the Military University Hospital Prague. Two patients with brain damage and cognitive deficit were treated with help of the whiteboard there and the course of the treatments, as well as documenting the examination, was the basis for two case studies. Possibilities of the Interactive Whiteboard Use at the Lessons of Music at the First Grade of Elementary Schools

The goal of the Theoretical part is to cover the history of the interactive whiteboard application, the main types of boards, their characteristics, programmes, available learning programmes etc. The Practical part offers several personal examples of the work with the interactive board proven to be successful in my educational music practice. A research of the use of the interactive whiteboard by the primary teachers at a chosen sample of elementary schools will also be included.

Application of digital teaching objects for mathematics lessons through interactive whiteboard

The thesis deals with the matter of interactive whiteboards, both from the technical and didactic point of view. It analyses selected Czech online storage sites and maps digital learning materials stored at these sites. Its content is focused on the area of Mathematics and its applications. On the basis of the analysis of digital learning objects and RVP ZV in connection to the particular school education programme for elementary schools, the digital teaching objects were created and described and they were also tested at a primary school during the school year 2014/2015 and the thesis includes the conclusions from their application.

Content and Language Integrated Learning with ICT using the Interactive Whiteboard

The main goal of the diploma thesis "Content and Language Integrated Learning with ICT using the Interactive Whiteboard" is to provide a comprehensible assessment of the potential benefits of employing CLIL during ICT lessons. The thesis focuses on the recent history of CLIL and its roots as well as the official support it receives from the European Union. This work also takes a look at the advantages CLIL has to offer and why anybody should consider using it. This work goes on to suggest some basic questions a teacher should ask him/herself when considering whether to employ CLIL or not. The Practical Part is focused on creating a series of activities that may serve as an example of using CLIL during ICT lessons while making use of the Interactive Whiteboard, one of the new tools that is available to an increasing number of schools. The Practical Part also includes sample files to be opened on the Interactive Whiteboard, the age range of learners for whom the activity is intended, their learning context, aims and expected learning outcomes for each activity as well as the kinds of tasks included in each activity and the expected problems. Interactive Whiteboard and its Possibilities of Usage in the Primary Education

The thesis examines the use of the interactive whiteboard in the lower primary schools since the interactive whiteboard is a commonly used teaching aid nowadays. Based on references to literature and an empirical study, the thesis aims to describe the various possibilities of the efficient usage of the interactive whiteboard in education. The theoretical part opens with the description of information and communication technologies in general and the usage of the interactive whiteboard in the classroom. It focuses on its advantages and disadvantages, lists examples of its features available, and closes with an illustration of interactive teaching. It also introduces SMART Notebook collaborative learning software and describes its features. The empirical part employs both the quantitative and the qualitative research. The quantitative part is based on a questionnaire aimed at teachers at lower primary schools and investigates how the teachers use the interactive whiteboard in their classrooms. The qualitative part is devoted to a set of interactive materials designed for the subjects Czech language and Maths, which were subsequently tested in the third grade of a lower primary school.
